OfCorsica, a Mediterranean restaurant by Little Island, is seeking a dishwasher to support our kitchen and guest experience. You will clean, sanitize, and organize dishware, assist with basic prep, and help maintain a safe, efficient dishwashing area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective communication and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, and pans.
• Store cleaned items in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area; sweep, mop, take out trash.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies; notify supervisor when inventory is low.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations related to kitchen hygiene and sanitation.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager promptly.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth operation.
