Job summary

Sodexo in Chesapeake is hiring a Dishwasher to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in food production and service areas. This role cleans equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces, transports and stores supplies, and assists with basic set-up and break-down tasks as directed.

A High School diploma or GED is preferred; no related work experience is required. Full-time position with varying shifts; open availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic food safety concepts.
• Open availability for varying shifts as needed.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize work tables, walls and refrigerators.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors; remove trash.
• Restock supplies and assist with set-up/break-down tasks.
