The Highlands at Harbor Springs is hiring dishwashers to maintain kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. This is a full-time or part-time role with flexible scheduling at our resort.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, rinsing and scrubbing, storing clean items, keeping the area clean and safe, and assisting with closing procedures. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• No prior experience required—on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the dishwashing machine and ensure it is working properly.
• Rinse, scrub and wash dishes, silverware, and cookware; place in racks or machine as required.
• Place all clean dishes in proper storage areas.
• Maintain dishwashing equipment and keep items clean and orderly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following procedures and safety standards.
• Clean drains, disposals, and sinks to ensure proper drainage.
• Communicate absences and schedule changes promptly.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen surfaces.
• Perform closing procedures including equipment maintenance, sanitation, and organization.
