Job summary

Newk's is seeking motivated, mature individuals to join our fast-paced restaurant as Dish Washer Staff. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishware with machine and manual methods, and help keep the dishwashing area safe and organized.

The role requires extensive standing, exposure to heat and cold, good mobility, and effective communication with peers and managers. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Extensive standing without breaks.
• Exposure to heat, smoke and cold.
• Must have high level of mobility/flexibility in space provided for periods of up to eight hours or longer as needed.
• Effective communication with peers, managers and guests.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishware, using machine and manual methods.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, safe and sanitary.
• Work independently with focus and attention to detail.
