Job summary

The RIT Inn & Conference Center is seeking a friendly, flexible Dishwasher to help keep our kitchen clean and efficient in Rochester, NY. You will sanitize cookware, maintain clean storage areas, and support meal prep while providing courteous service to hotel guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
• Sanitize and safely store all pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, silverware, and all utensils used in food production and service.
• Maintain storage areas in proper supply level, organization, and cleanliness.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen through the disposal of garbage and the cleaning of coolers, counters, shelves, equipment, floors, and other designated cleaning projects.
• Assist with meal plating and food prep.
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with staff to achieve high levels of cooperation and service excellence.
• Properly maintain all work equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries with appropriate level of sensitivity and immediacy.
