Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Full-time Dishwasher to support dining operations and keep a sanitary kitchen and dining area for residents and staff. The role includes cleaning, sanitizing, and transporting dishes, assisting cooks, and following health standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older or have a proper work permit and authorization documentation.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and organize dish storage and washing areas in accordance with all community safety and department policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils using dish machines or manual cleaning methods, as needed, adhering to health and sanitation standards.
• Complete general cleanup and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, including sinks, washing machines, tables, ranges, shelves, cabinets, trash bins, floors, etc.
• Maintain the dish machine and sinks, including checking detergent levels and reporting issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure that water temperature supports optimum cleaning, rinsing, and sanitizing.
• Transport meals to the CFL neighborhood, maintaining correct temperatures and returning carts promptly.
• Assist cooks with basic food preparation and serving as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and follow SDS guidelines.
• Promote teamwork and MBK principles in daily operations.
