Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Dishwasher at Norwich University. The role supports kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in production and service areas. You will clean equipment, transport supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment with cleaning chemicals to maintain sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies such as soap and towels.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods; may lift up to 50 pounds.
