Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in a dishwashing machine to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures to maintain cleanliness.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods to ensure cleanliness.
• Maintains safe, clean dish areas and adheres to safety standards.
• Keeps work areas and floors clean and sanitized; transfers supplies as needed.
• Loads and unloads supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
