Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Boulder, CO is seeking an entry-level dishwashing/kitchen helper to maintain cleanliness, wash and sanitize dishes, and assist with kitchen operations. You’ll support deliveries, organize storage, and help ensure a safe, inviting kitchen and store environment.

No prior retail experience is required. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practice procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing signs accuracy; reports safety hazards.
