The Local Place in Torrance, CA is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join our busy kitchen. You’ll wash and restock dishes, pots and utensils, help maintain a clean, safe prep and service area, and support the team during peak hours.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand long periods, and follow sanitation guidelines. The role offers $17.25 per hour plus tips and requires English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Washes all dishes, utensils, and pots/pans.
• Restocks clean dishes and supplies in kitchen, prep, and service areas.
• Loads and unloads the dishwasher following standard procedures.
• Stocks product into storage using FIFO.
• Maintains sanitation buckets and keeps dishwashing area clean.
• Follows GMPs and sanitation guidelines; reports needed maintenance.
• Assists in prep and other areas as needed.
• Willing to take on additional tasks as assigned.
