Job summary

The Post Oak in Galveston, TX is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing and restocking dishes, utensils, cookware, and other equipment. This role supports food safety and smooth restaurant operations.

You will follow sanitation procedures, assist with stocking, and keep the dishwashing area orderly. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required; the position is non-tipped with pay between $10 and $12 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation knowledge is required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, and cookware promptly.
• Monitor and maintain sanitation of dishwashing equipment and temps.
• Stock cleaning supplies and dish racks as needed.
• Empty and clean trash bins and ensure proper placement.
• Assist with organization and stocking of clean dishes and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the dishwashing area.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
