Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Team Member to perform dishwashing duties and maintain kitchen cleanliness. The role supports a positive store image by delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, stocking, and assisting with product rotation, while adhering to health and safety regulations. The position offers hourly pay and benefits relevant to the store.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
