Job summary

Benihana - Santa Anita is hiring a Dishwasher to support our BOH team and ensure clean, organized, and sanitary operations in a high-volume kitchen. You will help maintain dishware, cookware, and overall cleanliness to enable smooth service.

You'll work nights and weekends in a full-time role with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and meal discounts. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dishwashing areas.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper chemical levels.
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures.
• Keep floors, drains, and workstations clean and hazard-free.
• Store kitchen tools and equipment properly.
• Collaborate with BOH team to keep service running smoothly.
• Follow health department sanitation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Assist with basic prep work and food handling as needed.
• Execute tasks with professionalism and enthusiasm.
