Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in a rack or conveyor to the dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using machine or manual methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps the dish area organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles waste disposal.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
