Acme Hospitality is seeking a reliable dishwasher to keep the kitchen and dish area clean and organized in our California locations. No prior experience required, though dishwasher work is a plus, and you will follow food safety guidelines in a fast-paced setting.

You will operate commercial dishwashing equipment, load racks, hand-wash delicate items, assist in kitchen duties, and maintain a positive, professional attitude while ensuring sanitation and teamwork throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; dishwasher experience is a plus.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of dishes and utensils.
• Basic knowledge of proper dishwashing techniques and sanitation procedures.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from kitchen managers or chefs.
• Good time management and multitasking skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective communication to work as part of a team.
• Current State Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Load and unload dish racks; arrange for efficient washing and drying.
• Sort and store clean dishes and equipment.
• Inspect for debris before loading into the dishwasher.
• Hand wash delicate or oversized items.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Empty and clean garbage bins and recycling containers.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Notify culinary management of equipment issues.
• Support other kitchen duties as needed.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations with protective gear.
• Perform other cleaning and organizational tasks as assigned.
