Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and sanitization of dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, free of food residue.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Assist kitchen staff by collecting and returning kitchen tools, pots, and pans to their designated areas.
• Empty and clean trash bins regularly to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients, as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on dishwashing equipment to ensure it operates efficiently, including cleaning the dish trap and maintaining water flow.
• Restock clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in their designated storage areas and ensure proper labeling of supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Follow sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness, including wearing the appropriate uniform and protective gear.
