Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dishwashing/kitchen support team member in the Cincinnati area. You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist with deliveries, and arrive on time, groomed and ready to work.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, adherence to health and safety regulations, teamwork, and a willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays to support store programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly.
• Maximizes sales potential through prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment; maintains equipment per cleanliness and safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
