City Winery is seeking a Dishwasher to join our Kitchen team in New York. You will ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas while supporting a fast-paced dining and events operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or similar environment preferred.
• Exceptional guest service and hospitality skills.
• Ability to perform physical duties and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans with proper cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Scrape and sort dishes prior to loading into dishwasher.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work areas and equipment.
• Unload dishwashers and restock clean dishes and cooking equipment.
• Maintain dishwashing machine and inventory of detergents and supplies.
• Sort and remove trash and place in designated pickup areas.
• Assist in keeping glassware intact and handle with care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
