Job summary

Fort McDowell Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring a part-time Dishwasher for the Food & Beverage department. You will maintain clean utensils, dishware, glassware, and kitchen equipment to support guests and staff, while following sanitation procedures in a busy dining area.

The role requires standing 6–8 hours, lifting up to 60 lbs, and working in a hot, damp environment; compensation ranges from $15.00 to $19.50 per hour, with a 40-hour work week expectation.

Qualifications

• Must stand and walk during 6–8 hour shifts.
• Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and chemical handling.
• Willingness to work in a hot, damp environment.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing area.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plateware, glassware, and equipment.
• Ensure dishes are sanitized and available as needed.
• Maintain sanitation solutions in company codes.
• Set up the dish machine in the AM and close down the machine in the PM according to company procedures.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dishwasher machine.
• Wash plateware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans, and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Clean and sanitize throughout the shift.
• Knowledgeable of chemical handling.
• Place clean plateware, glassware, silverware, and pots/pans on specified shelves according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Keep dish areas clean by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping countertops, and emptying trash.
• Performs shift change and/or closing duties.
