Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square is conveniently located near Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park, with easy access to attractions like the Space Needle and Pike Place Market. Our property features 28 two-room suites and over 14,000 sq ft of meeting space across 10 rooms. This entry-level position offers opportunities for growth.

We are seeking a Dishwasher/Steward to join our busy culinary team. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Prior dishwashing or related experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in a dishwashing role and be available to work flexible hours. Hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate the dishwasher to clean all dishes and utensils used in kitchens, restaurants, and banquets.
2. Scrub pots and pans.
3. Restock all supplies in assigned areas.
4. Perform general kitchen cleaning, including mopping floors and removing trash.
5. Put away food stocks and dry goods, following FIFO principles.

The starting hourly rate is $24.33, increasing to $27.43 after 90 days, based on experience and location.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some related work experience preferred, hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain necessary government licenses or certificates.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance as per uniform guidelines.

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate dishwashers and cleaning equipment.
• Proficiency in English for communication and reading labels.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle kitchen equipment and utensils.
