Job description

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout their assigned area.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards that meet or exceed Federal, State, and Local regulations.
2. Set up, operate, and clean all kitchen machinery and equipment properly and safely, storing it in its designated place.
3. Clean and sanitize food service, preparation ware, dishroom, pot room, and kitchen areas as applicable.
4. Scrape and spray all ware before placing it in the ware-washing machine.
5. Rack all china and glassware according to dishroom standards.
6. Ensure all ware is clean and sanitary before removing from dishroom areas.
7. Take out trash as needed.
8. Sweep all debris from the floor, maintaining it dry and free of spills.
9. Practice proper food handling procedures.
10. Separate all ware and store it properly in designated areas.
