Responsibilities

• Gathers all dirty dishware and loads them into the dish machine, ensuring leftovers and trash are cleared.
• Operates automatic dishwashing machine and monitors detergents/chemicals.
• Unloads clean dishes and arranges them for staff use in carts and shelves.
• Manually scrubs pots and pans that cannot be machine-washed and dries as needed.
• Polishes silver, stainless steel, and pewter used in food service for a clean presentation.
• Maintains dishwashing equipment and cleanliness of the dish room to meet health regulations.
• Cleans kitchen surfaces, floors, and surrounding areas at end of shift as scheduled.
