The Dishwasher position will participate in all activities, including food preparation, merchandise handling, ware washing, and cleanliness and sanitation procedures. This is to be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and operating philosophies of The Dollywood Company.

Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Checks with Sous Chef and lead cook for daily objectives
• Handles and properly stores company assets
• Washes China, glasses, silverware and kitchen supplies in ware washer and or sink
• Cleans and organizes workstation
• Maintains a clean and sanitary culinary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes
• Properly stocks and stores food inventory when asked
• Performs kitchen duties as directed by the Sous Chef, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal
• Checks product/supply levels and adjusts to daily needs and communicates any shortages
• Participates in daily line ups
• Maintains ware washing equipment is good repair
• Ability to tolerate detergents and chemicals such as, but not limited to, dish liquids, bleach, degreaser, oven cleaner and other chemicals necessary to clean/sanitize equipment and environment

Education and Experience Required

• Must be at least 18 years old
• This position requires a minimum formal education of some high school
