Envision is hiring a Dishwasher / Dish Tank Operator for a busy bakery environment. The role supports dish room, warewashing, sanitation, and production operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include operating dishwashing systems, cleaning production equipment, and maintaining high cleanliness standards according to GMP and food safety procedures. The position offers full-time hours, second shift, and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment, dish tanks, tunnel washers, rack washers, and warewashing systems.
• Clean bakery racks, carts, trays, pans, tubs, utensils, containers, and production equipment.
• Load and unload dish machines and rack washing systems.
• Remove dough, glaze, icing, frosting, oils, and food residue from production equipment.
• Perform dish room and sanitation duties; maintain clean work areas and floors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment, dish tanks, tunnel washers, rack washers, and warewashing systems.
• Clean bakery racks, carts, trays, pans, tubs, utensils, containers, and food production equipment.
• Load and unload commercial dish machines and rack washing systems.
• Remove dough, glaze, icing, frosting, oils, and food residue from production equipment.
• Perform dish room, kitchen utility, sanitation, and cleaning duties.
• Clean floors, walls, drains, vents, and production areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain work areas.
• Follow food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support bakery production by ensuring equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and production-ready.
• Work safely around hot water, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a dishwasher, dish tank operator, dish room attendant, kitchen steward, utility worker, food service worker, sanitation worker, restaurant dishwasher, catering dishwasher, stewarding associate, or commercial cleaner preferred.
• Experience in restaurants, bakeries, food manufacturing, catering, hospitality, warehouses, hospitals, or commercial kitchens is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and work throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to move wheeled racks and carts.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to pass a background check.

COMPENSATION

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

SCHEDULE

• Second Shift
• Typical hours: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Full-Time
• Facility operates 7 days per week, including most holidays
