Company Overview:The Dillard House Farm Resort is a new addition to the Legacy Ventures Restaurants portfolio and will be an exciting adventure as we build on what the Dillard family has developed since 1917. This one-of-a-kind property is nestled in the picturesque Tennessee River Valley within a two-hour drive north of Atlanta in Rabun County. The F&B Team will support the Main Dining Room, New Brewery, Rock House Restaurant, and all Banquet Culinary needs. It will represent tradition with authentically sourced cuisine, numerous outdoor activities and outstanding southern charm and hospitality.

Primary Duties:

  • Clean all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, serving items and equipment as per the approved sanitation and food safe guidelines.

  • Operate the dishwasher and check all items for cleanliness.

  • Store all clean dishes in the appropriate areas.

  • Maintain all dishwashing and other cleaning equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment around the dishwashing area.

  • Load or unload food and supplies.

  • Clean the garbage area; and sort and remove trash.

  • Assist with food preparation when required.

  • Prepare trays and banquet accessories.

  • Sweep and mop floors

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Communication: Must clearly communicate in a professional manner with guests, vendors, coworkers and management. The ability to promote two-way communication by presenting clear ideas using thoughtful and responsive words. Nonverbal cues from a guest or server can alert the bartender to a potential problem. Must also understand instructions, read written company memorandums and communicate when he or she needs more direction. Required

Interpersonal Relationships: Must adapt to different personalities of guests and coworkers without losing focus. Extreme familiarity or conflicts with coworkers often weaken a team-oriented work environment.

Problem Solving and Conflict Management : Must recognize a problem when it arises and be able to resolve it appropriately by using good judgement, tact and initiative according to company policy and procedure.


Performing General Physical Activities: Must perform physical activities that require moderate strength including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials.

Time Management Skills: Must utilize methods and organization techniques in a fast-paced environment to ensure efficiency and respect the time of others. Bartenders must be able to direct others, such as bar backs and bussers, to maximize efficiency and team work.

Flexibility: Often work overtime, when needed, and assist the workload of others.

Initiative: Must take action frequently, collaborate with team members and develop new ideas that focus on results.
