Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc is seeking a dedicated team member to perform dishwashing and maintain a clean kitchen area. You will ensure proper storage, rotation of products, and assist with deliveries while upholding health and safety standards.

You will interact with Team Members and customers, demonstrate strong time management, and contribute to a positive store image through courteous, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and WFM standards.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs, and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures for weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment; ensures equipment is clean and safe.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signs and pricing accuracy; reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
