Job summary

Ivy at Hawaii Kai is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure dishes and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored according to our standards. The role supports meal service by preparing the dish area and transporting items to and from the kitchen, while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include breaking down the kitchen for cleanup, assisting with sanitation, and responding to resident concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Six months of kitchen or similar experience preferred.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening including TB tests.
• Dress code and sanitation standards maintained.
• Health/safety requirements per regulatory guidelines including PPE may apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to kitchen after meals and return clean items to storage.
• Break down kitchen for clean-up and sanitize dish room and dining areas.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
