Job summary

Link Restaurant Group in New Orleans is seeking a dishwasher to efficiently wash dishes and cooking equipment while helping keep both front and back of house clean and organized.

You will clean FOH areas as directed, maintain BOH spaces including refrigeration and prep areas, and participate in weekly deep cleaning of all BOH areas, with emphasis on safety and sanitation. Previous restaurant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and cooking equipment promptly during service.
• Clean and maintain FOH areas as directed by BOH managers.
• Clean exterior areas of the restaurant per LRG standards.
• Maintain BOH work areas, including refrigeration and prep areas.
• Participate in weekly deep cleaning of BOH areas.

Responsibilities:

• Washing all dishes and cooking equipment in a timely and organized manner during restaurant service
• Clean and maintain FOH areas as directed by BOH managers
• Clean and maintain sidewalk, street, and all exterior areas of the restaurant in accordance with LRG standards and expectations. ?
• Maintain clean BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas
• Participate in weekly deep cleaning of all BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas. ?

Skills & Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and lift and carry 50lbs throughout the shift
• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required

Physical Demands

The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
