Job summary

Cowboy's Café is a busy, family-owned restaurant in Nevada seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support a fast-paced kitchen. You will clean dishes, cookware, and utensils to health standards and help maintain a tidy, organized work area.

The ideal candidate works well under pressure, follows safety procedures, and is ready to contribute as part of a friendly team in a high-energy environment. 1 year of dishwashing preferred; food handler certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher or restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience operating a high-temperature commercial dishwasher.
• Ability to follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using a commercial high-temperature dishwasher.
• Ensure all items are cleaned according to health and sanitation standards.
• Remove soiled dishes and flatware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Return clean dishes, cookware, and utensils to their designated storage areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain clean kitchen floors.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout each shift.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Clean kitchen equipment, walls, workstations, shelving, and other assigned areas.
• Complete daily side work, including cleaning utensils and pots.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
