Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Dishwasher for Bob's Steak & Chop House at the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

Since the opening of the first Bob’s Steak & Chop House in Dallas, Texas, in 1993, the name “Bob’s” has been synonymous with a great steakhouse experience. Building on the reputation we earned at our original Dallas location, Bob’s has opened restaurants nationwide that offer the best cuts of meat available.

Bob's Steak & Chop House offers competitive rates, growth opportunities, flexible hours and is open for dinner only and closed on Sundays and most major holidays.

Responsibilities
  1. Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware so that it can be put through the dish or pot machine properly. Quickly wash all ware and replace in storage areas as designated. Keep dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water per hotel standards.
  2. De-tarnish/polish silver for proper appearance.
  3. Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans promptly and completely so cooks can carry out their work.
  4. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  5. Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in order to provide cooks, banquet servers and food servers with appropriate equipment for guests' dining experience.
  6. Perform duties to maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  7. Sweep and mop floors.
  8. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
  9. Separate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
  10. Steam-clean or hose-out garbage cans.
  11. Sort cardboard boxes and put through bailing machine.
  12. Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
  13. Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
  14. Run glasses through dish machine twice.
  15. Understand OSHA regulations.
  16. Put away and rotate stock.
  17. Put away all clean utensils and stock in designated areas.
  18. Maintain personal hygiene.
  19. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Must have a valid Food Handlers License.
  2. Steward or dishwasher experience preferred.
  3. Hotel or restaurant experience preferred.
  4. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
