Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a part-time Dishwasher and Bakery Assistant to support daily bakery operations. Flexible hours and no late nights or weekends are available, with shifts typically during the day.

You will wash dishes, assist the baking team, and help maintain clean work areas, refrigerators and storage spaces. Prior bakery experience is a plus, and the role emphasizes physical stamina and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• No formal education or work experience is required, but previous dishwasher/foodservice experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Diligence in maintaining clean and safe work areas.

Responsibilities

• Wash all dishes and keep walls, floors, shelves and surfaces clean.
• Assist Baker and Froster with daily tasks and other departments as needed.
• Clean refrigerators, fold boxes, empty trash and dispose to dumpster.
• Perform other general cleaning tasks as required.

Part time dishwashers will be scheduled 15-25 hours per week Monday-Friday. Multiple shift options available for part time hours, 9am - 2pm, 11am to 4pm, 1pm to 6pm. No late nights or weekends.

Just Cake!! We only bake cake and we only have 4 sizes which means we only have a few types of pans.

Hours and days are flexible. *Pay range is based on experience.*

Job Duties include but not limited to:

• Washing all dishes, keeping all walls, floors, shelves and surfaces clean
• Assisting Baker and Froster with daily tasks and assisting other departments as needed
• Cleaning refrigerators, folding boxes, emptying trash and taking to dumpster
• Other general cleaning

**This position requires good physical stamina, as you will be active and on your feet several hours at a time. **

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Is able to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents such as operating procedures and health and safety rules, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
• Has the ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (as much as 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.

Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:

• While no formal education or work experience is required, previous experience as a Dishwasher or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice environment is a plus.
