Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area at all times.
• Properly sort and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• A steward assists with trash removal and recycling as needed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Supervisor.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Back-of-house attendants assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.
• Dishwashers work collaboratively with team members to support a smooth, efficient kitchen operation.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Dishwashers to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment in a fast-paced luxury dining setting. This role supports the kitchen team by ensuring all dishware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and ready for use, contributing to the smooth operation of the restaurant.

• As a Dishwasher, you wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area at all times
• Properly sort and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment
• A steward assists with trash removal and recycling as needed
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Supervisor

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
