Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Operate and maintain the dish machine and wash area.
• Ensure daily housekeeping of kitchen spaces, sweeping and mopping.
• Empty and sanitize trash and cleanup spills or broken items.
• Follow MSDS safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist with banquet events and other kitchen duties as directed by supervisor.

Job Description

What you will be doing

• Use established guidelines to keep all kitchen items such as plates, glassware, utensils, pots and pans as well as the general kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Correctly utilize and maintain dish machine to wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack; wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area.
• Ensure that all cleaning is performed daily to keep the kitchen neat, clean, and organized at all times; this includes sweeping, mopping, wiping down walls, and cleaning up spills or any broken glass/dishes.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans. Make sure they are sprayed and sanitized after each use. Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in areas of Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with banquet events as directed by supervisor.
