Job summary

St. Mary Village in Montana is seeking energetic international students to join the kitchen team as dishwashers for the Summer to Fall season. No previous experience required and full training is provided from day one.

You will operate commercial dishwashing machines, keep areas clean, assist with basic prep, and support the team during busy dinner rushes. On-site housing and meals are provided, with a starting wage of $16.00 per hour for 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• University student eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 programme.
• Conversational English and a friendly, team-first personality.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift and move during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and hand-wash pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Keep dish areas, floors and storage spaces clean, organised and sanitary.
• Sort, stack and return clean dishes, glassware and cutlery to service stations.
• Assist chefs and cooks with basic prep tasks and stock rotation when needed.
• Take out trash, manage recycling and follow all health and safety standards.
• Support teammates during busy dinner rushes with a positive, can-do attitude.
