Job summary

CJE SeniorLife in Illinois is seeking a Dishwasher to support the dietary department. The shift runs 11:00am to 7:30pm with Mondays and Tuesdays off. The base pay is $19.30 per hour, with a shift differential of $0.75 per hour for second shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, following health codes, and assisting with meal service. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and must obtain a state-required food handler permit within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Illinois Food Handler Course within 60 days of hire.
• Must pass course within first 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health codes for food handling.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
• Maintain professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and coworkers.
• Ensure safety and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
