Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Chicago’s Lincoln Park area is hiring a part-time dishwasher to support our dining services. You will handle sanitation, dishwashing, and safe storage of kitchen equipment, supporting cooks and ensuring a clean, hospitable environment for residents.

The role requires a reliable team player who communicates clearly in English, works flexible shifts including weekends, and adheres to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Experience with cleaning standards in commercial food operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Prioritize hospitality and resident satisfaction in every interaction.
