Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services in Illinois is seeking a Dishwasher to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain orderly nutrition services storage areas, while assisting in other kitchen tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will have prior relevant experience and the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Compensation ranges from $16.30 to $21.58 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine.
• Maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Transport carts to and from dining areas.
• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations.
• Monitor water temperatures and cleaning chemical usage.
• Clean and wash food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots and pans.
• Keep kitchen work areas and dining rooms clear of dirty dishes.
• Sweep and mop floors and work areas.
• Assist in transporting residents during emergencies as needed.
