Job summary

Bar ‘Cino Newport, part of Newport Restaurant Group, is seeking a Dishwasher to join the team in Newport, RI. You’ll maintain kitchen work areas, ensure equipment and utensils are clean and orderly, and help keep front and back of house operations moving smoothly.

You are positive, energetic, and able to work both independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule for days, nights, weekends, and some holidays is required; prior dishwashing experience is a plus but not

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds.
• Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide clean equipment for the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and trays by hand and by using the dishwashing machine.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Wash work tables and cleans food storage areas.
• Assist with trash and garbage.
• Help to load or unload supplies and transfer between storage and work areas.
• Basic food prep, cutting, washing, and chopping.
