Job summary

Old Edwards Hospitality Group in Highlands, NC seeks a dedicated Dishwasher/Utility to support our culinary and front‑of‑house teams. This entry role keeps the dish area clean, organized, and ready for service, helping operations run smoothly across dining formats.

You will provide serving items and cookware to staff, assist with opening and closing lists when possible, ensure chemicals and equipment are stocked and working, and help with basic kitchen prep as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial or hotel kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense and follow written, oral, or diagram form instructions.
• Must be able to stand for long periods in a hot environment.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and efficient dish area.
• Provide kitchen and waitstaff with serving items and cookware they require to serve guests consistently and reliably.
• Aid in removing trash, putting away deliveries, and completing opening and closing lists, as time allows.
• Ensure all chemicals and required equipment are in stock and in working order.
• Help with general kitchen prep when able.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the chef.
