Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain the cleanliness of our kitchen and dining areas within a long-term care facility. You will contribute to a safe, orderly environment while supporting residents and staff.

The position offers pay of $16.00–$18.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for hands-on training and career development in a team‑oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to keep the kitchen clean.
• Sanitize equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines for a safe environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle as needed.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide good customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

• Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Offered salary rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
