Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dishes, washes by hand or uses dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays as per procedures.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
4. Follows safety procedures.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
6. Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
8. Washes work surfaces and food prep areas.
9. Removes and disposes of trash properly.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
11. Assists with loading and unloading supplies.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.
