SUMMARY OF POSITION: Maintains a clean working area, properly washes and sorts all clean plates, silverware, glassware, kitchen equipment etc. Employee keeps the dish area free of clutter and organized. Sets up dish stations, including the dish machine and sinks. Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean working area and properly washing all dishes.
• Keep dish area free of clutter and organized.
• Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
• Maintains clean and dry floors throughout the shift.
• Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware and storage containers.
• Changes the water of the machines and sinks throughout the shift by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by EcoLab.
• Maintains the trash cans throughout the shift and removes full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift.
• Assists in food prep and any other duties requested by the kitchen manager.

• Walk/ be on your feet for a long period of time.
• Stand for a long period of time.
• Repeat the same movements.
• Use your hands to handle, control, feel objects and tools.
• Lift between 25 and 50 pounds.
• Speak clearly so listeners can understand.
• See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
• Be physically active for long periods of time without getting tired or out of breath.
