Dave & Buster’s is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across the kitchen. You will clean, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, flatware, and kitchenware while adhering to safety and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, flatware, utensils, and kitchenware.
• Use chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control.
• Safely and correctly operate all equipment.
• Cleans and sanitizes all dishware, flatware, and glassware.
• Carefully sort all dishware and flatware to ensure none are lost or disposed of.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen pots, pans, and utensils.
• Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Handle all glassware and dishware carefully to eliminate breakage.
• Empty trash in the kitchen and clean and maintain trash cans.
• Assist other kitchen staff members with pressure point relief during the shift as needed.
• Assist with line maintenance, sweeping, and clearing dirty dishes.
• Assist with some prep and banquet items directly as directed by management.
• Clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls, and drains.
• Assist in the maintenance of kitchen storage areas, cleanliness, and stocking.
• Clean and maintain all mats.
• Assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate.

Position Snapshot

The Dishwasher position is vital to the overall cleanliness of the building and the safety of our guests and staff. The Dishwasher staff is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and properly storing all dishes, flatware, utensils, and kitchenware.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
• Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant preferred, but not required.
• Must demonstrate clear communication with guests and other team members.
• Must be disciplined and self‑motivated.
• Must be dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands

• Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
• Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions.
• Read and write handwritten notes.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Move about the facility and stand for long periods of time.
• Walk or stand 100% of the shift.
• Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently.

Salary Range

$13.73 – $17.25 per hour.
