Job summary

Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group (JAM) is seeking a seasonal dishwasher to work at our JAM Shop in Lansdowne, PA 19050. You will maintain an orderly workspace, collect and deliver dishes, pots, pans, and utensils after events, and wash, sanitize, and store items properly.

This full-time daytime role may include weekends during our busy season, with a pay rate of $14 per hour. You must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an orderly, organized workspace.
• Collect kitchen pots, pans, trays, and utensils, deliver to the dishwashing station.
• Wash all china, glassware and flatware from events and sanitize before storage.
• Ensure chemicals/soap levels are adequate and equipment is clean.
• Assist in keeping the dishwashing area clean and orderly.
• Polish silver and copper as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Maintain an orderly, organized workspace.
• Collect kitchen pots, pans, trays, and cooking utensils, deliver them to the dishwashing station.
• Wash all china, glassware and flatware returning from events.
• Ensure all chemicals and soaps are full.
• Verify all items are clean and sanitized prior to putting away.
• Assists in keeping the dish washing area clean.
• Polish silver and copper as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work independently (self-sufficient) while maintaining a team atmosphere.

Compensation & Schedule

$14/hr

This position is full-time during the day and may include weekends. Flexible working hours, based on the needs of our business, are generally provided.
