Job summary

Presbyterian Kaseman in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support a hospital kitchen and cafeteria environment. You will retrieve trays, operate dishwashing equipment, and ensure proper storage of clean items while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, trash disposal, sweeping and mopping, assisting with meal tray delivery, and participating in patient and customer meal assembly according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Less than high school.
• Less than one year experience in customer service or food service environment.
• Minimal legal age for consideration is 16.

Summary

Performs a variety of cleaning, sanitation, and support duties within a hospital kitchen and cafeteria environment. Responsibilities include collecting meal trays from designated utility areas, cleaning and organizing meal carts, operating dishwashing equipment, washing pots and utensils, and ensuring all clean items are properly stored in assigned work areas. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness throughout the department by disposing of trash, sweeping, mopping, and adhering to sanitation standards. Assists with the delivery of meal trays and food services to customers while ensuring quality, safety, and infection control standards are consistently met.
