Job summary

Bluejack National is seeking a part of the Culinary team for the Dishwasher role. The position involves washing dishes, maintaining a clean dish area, and assisting with deliveries and basic kitchen tasks as needed.

Flexibility with weekdays and weekends is required. Prior hospitality experience is a plus, and a Texas driver’s license may be needed for some shifts. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and cookware using commercial equipment.

• Assist with basic food prep or other kitchen tasks as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Wash and properly sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment.

• Ensure all items are cleaned, dried, and stored in their proper locations for efficient kitchen operation.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, dishmachine, and surrounding surfaces.

• Assistwith receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies.

• Remove trash and recyclables from kitchen areas and dispose of them according to club procedures.

• Assistwith cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, and walls as scheduled or directed.

• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

• Support kitchen and front-of-house staff by restocking clean wares as needed.

• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or supply needs to the supervisor or chef.

• Assistwith basic food prep or other kitchen tasks as requested during slower periods.

• Adhere to all health department regulations and club cleanliness standards.

• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and contribute to the overall success of the culinary operation.

• Additionalduties as requested byBluejack leadership.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Prior experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus

• Prior experience in a kitchen, dishwashing, or porter role preferred but notrequired

• Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently, attention to quality and detail.

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbsand stand for extended periods

• Requires excellent oral and writtencommunicationsskills.

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION:

High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.

APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:

Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, schedule flexible as business dictates.
