Job summary

A local golf club and resort located in New York is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join their kitchen team. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with basic kitchen tasks. No prior experience is necessary, and the ideal candidate should be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• No prior experience necessary – we’re happy to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, glassware, and cooking equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and machines.
• Properly sort and stack clean items.
• Assist with garbage disposal and recycling tasks.
• Support kitchen staff with restocking, organizing supplies, and light prep work.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Communicate any maintenance or supply needs to the kitchen manager.
