Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and hand-wash items as needed to keep dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen tools clean and ready for service.
• Inspect, rotate, and store clean dishware and utensils carefully; keep dish storage areas organized and stocked.
• Maintain a clean, orderly dish area throughout the shift and follow established kitchen sanitation procedures.
• Clean and refresh beverage stations, including coffee, tea, and soda areas, as assigned.
• Empty trash regularly and address spills or broken glass promptly to help maintain a safe work area.
• Follow food safety rules, cleaning instructions, and product labels when handling dishes, chemicals, and kitchen equipment.
• Report equipment problems, supply shortages, or other concerns promptly to the Sous Chef or supervisor.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation and cleanup during busy service as directed.
• Complete assigned opening and closing tasks, including cleaning and restocking the work area.
• Arrive prepared for each shift, maintain good personal hygiene, and work respectfully with teammates from diverse backgrounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures and read cleaning and safety labels.
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills to understand instructions and report concerns clearly.
