Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 1-3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation chemicals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff and answer directly to the kitchen chef.
• Maintain kitchen safety and sanitation while performing physical tasks.

Job description

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Will answer directly to kitchen chef on duty and work with all kitchen staff.
2. Shifts to include opening and closing responsibilities.
3. Ability to lift over 35 pounds.
4. Focus on station sanitation and organization.
5. Focus on all aspects of kitchen safety.
6. The job will consist of helping other areas of golf course property.
7. Ability to drive utility cart and obey all traffic and safety rules.
8. Will help in product transportation from main drop point to kitchen.
9. Must be punctual and dependable in the team areas.
10. Knowledge of sanitation chemical and prior experience a plus.
11. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
12. Have a current and valid Driver’s License.
13. Ability to safely drive vehicles.
14. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and members/guests.
15. Ability to communicate effectively.
16. Ability to work independently.
17. Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
18. Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the member/guest experience.
19. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
20. Requires Motor Vehicle Record check.

APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:

Part-time, as needed position. May require weekdays, weekends, and Holidays. Schedule flexible as business dictates.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. This position requires an above average amount of physical labor such as bending, stooping, walking, reaching, and standing.
2. Should be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
3. This position requires driving, and thus, there can also be extended periods of sitting.
