Il Lusso is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support a busy kitchen in Tallahassee. You will operate an industrial dishwasher, clean cooking utensils, and maintain spotless work areas while assisting line cooks with prep, storage, and proper dating of food.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher experience preferred.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Hardworking with a positive and upbeat attitude.
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work a night schedule that includes holidays and weekends.
• Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash pots, pans, and other cooking equipment.
• Wash plates, glasses, pots, pans, trays, and flatware.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift.
• Maintain the dish area, equipment, and chemicals.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Follow all sanitation policies Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the workday.
• Contribute to an overall positive and collaborative environment.
• Help line cooks properly prep, store, and date food.
• Clean and organize kitchen equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
